MeowByte
Private pilot — requests reviewed manually

Route traffic through real residential IPs, not datacenter ranges.

MeowByte pools idle bandwidth from consenting contributors and lets you route your own traffic through it via a simple proxy API — rotating or sticky sessions, targeted by country or city.

Mechanism

Two hops, neither side sees the other

A request never touches a contributor's machine directly — it's brokered through the control plane, so a buyer never learns a contributor's identity and vice versa.

01

Contributors opt in

A desktop app shares a small, capped slice of idle upload bandwidth — explicit opt-in, a live share meter, and a pause button that takes effect immediately.

02

The gateway picks a node

Your session request is matched to a healthy, reputation-scored node — by country or city, rotating per request or held sticky for up to 10 minutes.

03

Your traffic exits there

Your request tunnels out through that contributor's real residential connection and the response comes straight back to you.

Why it's built this way

Consent and safety aren't a policy page, they're the architecture

Contributor-side Explicit, unbundled opt-in at install — never a EULA scroll-past. A local, unbypassable destination blocklist runs on every contributor's machine independent of anything we send it.
Buyer-side Identity verification above a bandwidth threshold. Every account starts capped at 1 GB until verified — enforced server-side, not just described in a contract.
